How does it work?

We bring the dental office to you. All of our equipment is portable; all we need is 10-12 feet of space and an electrical outlet close by. The space should be clutter-free, and should be a flat surface. We may place a mat down if required for easy clean-up.

Will my insurance cover services provided?

Codes billed by independent dental hygienists are different than ones billed at dental offices. Common insurance companies do cover our codes while some small companies may not. Estimates and pre-approvals are available upon request so there are no surprises at your visit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For ease, we accept e-transfer, debit and credit card payments.

Do I still need to see a dentist?

It is recommended that you see a dentist for regular check-ups and dental x-rays. If you do not have a dentist, we can refer you to one that we trust and work closely with. Keep in mind that your check-up appointment will be significantly shorter than previous visits.

How do you sterilize your instruments?

We sterilize dental instruments at a facility that has been fully inspected and approved by the College of Dental Hygienists of Alberta. We follow the recommendations from the Alberta Dental Association and AHS. All instruments must pass a negative spore test prior to being used, which is performed with each load and inspected regularly.

Do you direct bill to my insurance?

Yes, we will send all information to your insurance on your behalf.

I don’t have insurance, can I still book a cleaning?

Absolutely! Oral health is a key component to overall health. We understand that visits can be expensive, but we will work with you to ensure that you get the care that you need - nothing more, nothing less.
